Hospitality Lighting Project

Lumenworks delivered lighting solutions for Grand Mercure Auckland, using decorative and architectural lighting to bring warmth, character and a strong visual identity to the hotel interiors. Statement fittings and carefully placed ambient lighting complement the rich materials, patterns and metallic finishes throughout the lobby, reception and guest areas, creating a refined and welcoming atmosphere.

A mix of statement pendants, decorative fittings and discreet architectural lighting creates layers of light throughout the hotel. Feature pieces establish strong visual focal points, while softer ambient lighting supports the surrounding finishes, furnishings and architectural details.

The lighting was treated as part of the interior experience, not simply as illumination. Decorative forms and warm metallic finishes echo the patterns and detailing found throughout the hotel, while different scales and styles of fittings give individual spaces their own character.
