Hospitality Lighting Project
Lumenworks delivered lighting solutions across key hospitality spaces at Sofitel Wellington, complementing the hotel’s rich materials, decorative detailing and sophisticated interiors. From the reception and restaurant through to guest rooms and shared spaces, layers of architectural, ambient and decorative lighting work together to highlight textures, define spaces and create a warm, refined atmosphere throughout the hotel.

Lighting design and specification across key hotel areas, including reception, restaurant and dining spaces, guest rooms and shared areas, with lighting integrated throughout the interior architecture.

A layered combination of architectural, ambient and decorative lighting was used throughout the project. Integrated lighting highlights key surfaces and architectural details, while feature pendants and accent lighting bring warmth and character to dining and guest areas.

The lighting was designed to work naturally with the hotel’s rich palette of dark finishes, brass detailing, patterned surfaces and layered textures. Warm illumination enhances these materials while creating contrast and visual depth across the different spaces.

The completed lighting scheme gives Sofitel Wellington a warm and sophisticated character while allowing each area to develop its own atmosphere. From vibrant dining spaces to more intimate guest rooms, the lighting helps connect the interiors into one cohesive hospitality experience.
